I did consider swapping the supplied screws for brass ones, but decided to use the supplied anodised ones and keep an eye on them for any corrosion as it will be kept in my greenhouse which will get a bit humid come spring/summer. The quality is good for the money spent - the timber is a little bit rough, but perfectly good for the job intended. The galvanised top was folded back on both the rear corners but easily flattened out. The hooks are a bit flimsy as my 3 year old grandson managed to snap one not long after I had screwed it on - not a problem though as I only attached them to one end as the other is up against the greenhouse end so I had three spares, I will probably replace them with some better quality cast brass ones though. For fifty quid I can't complain as the local garden centres were selling similar quality or worse potting benches for twice the price or more! Review: Looks good, functional - For the price this is a good bit of kit, that said I applied my own preservative before assembling, just to help it last. It also looks good. Ideal height and two practical shelves underneath the metal surfaced worktop.
