I'm packing up 2 locations & WOW! my old dispenser was not working well. It didn't have a blade cover (never did), the tape kept getting stuck on the clear flap/guide (eeerrr), the metal tape guide didn't lift so I couldn't easily reposition the roll (the new one has a hinge on it!) & the cutting teeth on the old one looked like they had been stolen off an old bulldog (it had me barking!). Cutting packing tape had become a chore BUT .... I am happy to say, the new dispenser has a cover for the cutting blade/teeth (the teeth are nice & pointy, too. I'm not worrying as much about nicking my fingers or hands. This whole dispenser is solid, not wonky like other ones that I'd paid just as much (if not more) for. Very pleased with this purchase.
