The mats will get secured in the tiny space at the base of the retaining post. The plastic clips holding them all together was a little pain to take off. The mats for my car perfectly (2016 Q5). The rectangular piece that is supposed to cover middle back portion does not fit and I will need to trim. It would have been nice if it have notches that attached to the rear floor mats so it’s not just this odd piece dangling in middle. Overall, good value product.
