It's very sleek and sturdy and matches the color (Space Gray)! However, be aware that if you have a hardshell case on your computer, the adapter will not fit due to the case interfering with the adapter. The adapter has to go in all the way and with a case on your computer, that will be impossible to do! I was not aware of this when I first bought it. Another thing, since you're connecting the adapter to two thunderbolts at the same time, it's a little harder to take out; you have to put some force to it. It's driving a USB 3.0 SD drive, USB 3.0 HD, Camera card, and 27" Viewsonic Monitor via HDMI. I've also tested the monitor with a USB C to display port cable. It does all of these things while charging the Mac air. You guys have scored big time! This is an absolutely gorgeous product.At my desk, I'm using all of the ports (except one) all of the time.The LED indicator maintains a soft glow that's not too bright at night.For driving a monitor, the HDMI port seems to generate more heat than the usb c to display port connection.At maximum use, the unit is only moderately warm at best.I loved the gold mini screws at both ends.
