For that price they are a steal! Absolutely comfortable and as durable as they come. the Stitchings on the pad actualy look like some type of thick string that somewhat resembles a thin fishing line that looks unbreakable but does not affect the comfortability once you strap up and start lifting weights. I've Dead Lifted up to 455 lbs with these and they hold up great. The only downside I see with the strap itself that might be a problem for some people is that the bottom portion of it that wraps around the bar is white....this means that ovr time it will definately get dirty esp if you're like me and like using chalk and all that.
