It is made to only open around 150 degrees which is quite annoying when putting and taking bills in and out. I bought this because most women's wallets are way to big, so if you're minimalistic/practical like me then this is perfect. The outside is a kind of clothy canvas (not rough like you might expect--it's rather soft), and the inside seems to be either real leather or very high-quality faux leather.
