Don't stick them in your living room where you are watching movies, That's all I'm saying. I put one in a QNAP TR-002 direct attached storage bay for my PLEX back up. It spun up and formatted fine. I cloned my PLEX drive to it and all it well. It does make a little noise when accessing or writing but I'm not at all concerned. My second drive I just received and installed in my full tower. It will replace my current PLEX media drive and is in the process of being cloned. This drive is dead quiet! I would almost think it isn't running if it weren't getting cloned right now.
