One for the frame, one for the table top. Good idea so they don't beat each other up.I wouldn't sit or stand on this, but it's more than adequate for some food, snacks, or drinks. You expand the legs on the base. flip over a couple of bars, line up the table top, and snap it into place. Easy!I used it for the first time yesterday. When we were done, I went to disassemble it. When I removed the table top from the base, I noticed a piece of plastic fly off. One of the plastic corner brackets broke, so the top can no longer snap into place.
