This is a christmas gift for my 4.5 year old who is wearing 5/6 clothes depending on brand. In the picture I sized up the size 8 cuddlecoat to her size 6 carters jacket and there are 4 inches more at the bottom for the cuddlecoat, 1.5 inches more in the sleeve length and the sleeves are about a 1/2 inch wider. This is definitely a lightweight jacket so keep that in mind.
