The texture is soft with plenty of grip, honestly, it's quite pleasant to hold. I didn't expect much when I ordered this case due to only having 4 reviews at the time of this review. The packaging felt like you were getting something premium, I really didn't expect it to be presented as such so I give them props for that. Overall, I'm very pleased with this case! It's essentially a hairline crack, but it goes all the way through, and I suspect it's just a matter of time before it snags on something and breaks. Luckily I'm within the return window. I didn't drop the phone and I have no idea where the crack could have come from. I've used others of these cases before without issue, but I am lowering my rating to 3 stars from 4. I think I'll look for a different case rather than a replacement.** Original Review **I've purchased these types of cases before and I love how thin they are, while providing the extra grip that I need. I do wish the top and bottom protruded just a little bit more to protect the screen. When placing it screen down, I think it helps, but it doesn't fully keep the screen off of the surface. Great price for the product. You will not drop the phone with this on. I think this will protect phone from scratches and minor drops and knocks for sure. It don't think it could handle a drop from big heights.
