I tried the new hands on the spindle to see if they fit, which they did. I assume that most of the clocks made over seas were using the same standards, or the same opening. That would explain why so many of these kits are interchangeable. It is the clock face depth under the glass and width that is the issue. Although, I dug out my saved parts and measured the old guts! I believe it is 8-9 mmm or 5/8" ish. Very good luck to you! **Q: Would this work on a vinyl record I am making into a clock?** A: I certainly think it should work. You may want to find one with longer hands. If the hole in the record isn’t big enough, you can very carefully drill a larger one. Be careful though as the record may be brittle and crack. Put duct tape over the hole on both sides befor you drill. **Q: How to remove clock face, to replace movement seems to be glued down?** A: Yes typically either hot glued down or double stick taped. You can separate the movement carefully. First remove the hands and button, they just pull off. Then loosen and take off the hex nut. You can pitch all those. You get replacements with your new movement. Pit the clock face on a soft towel or rag. Get a larger flat screw driver or utility knife and slowly go around and loosen the adhesive. It should pop tight off. Hopefully that helps.
