The shoes arrived on-time, new and very well packaged (outer box, shoe-box, each shoe in individual bag and stuffed with paper to maintain shape). Appearance is excellent and this seems to be a solid and well-made product........ time will tell.Although the shoes are true to size in terms of length and width, I find that the opening, by design, for inserting one's foot is smaller than on my previous shoes....... I measured the opening to be more than 1/2" shorter than the shoes I am replacing. In consequence it is a struggle to get my feet into these new shoes; and there is not much stretch in the elastic cut-outs ...... once inside, the shoes are a good fit and I am hoping that they will loosen up somewhat with use. The shoes it doesn't help when you sweat to much from your feet because right now it has a bad smell when it is wet.If you sweat a lot from you feet, don't buy it because the fake leather will get a bad smell.I know it is the material of the shoes because I bought another brand shoes at the same time I bought this one, and the other one does have a bad smell. They look great with a pair of jeans on. I wear a size 10 with athletic shoes but for some reason dress shoes run bigger on me (or just in general). I was about to order size 10 before i checked my last dress shoes and realized that those were size 9....??? So that worried me a bit and I went the save route with a Size 9.5 with these. They fit pretty good but maybe a tad bit big so maybe size 9 was the way to go. I've seen some of the other reviews where the soles came off after some time and that the color would scrape off.
