This product was perfect - we pulled out one of the drawers near the headboard and placed this standing bedrail in its place. We had a little trouble with one of the holes not lining up for the screws. My husband drilled it out and everything worked fine. My mom loves the location of the bedrail and the confidence it gives her in getting out of bed.

**Q: What keeps it stationary at bedside?**
A: nothing it is freestanding and light weight, you would have to tie it to the bed..

**Q: How much weight can it support?**
A: Maybe it can't support who over 200LB? REALLY

**Q: Is the height adjustable**
A: No it isn't. The user can choose one of the three bars to hold onto. They can also start on the bottom rail and “climb” up the other two, like a ladder.

**Q: I'm looking for something to help alert if someone turns over and keep them from falling out the bed not actually helping them up. Will this work?**
A: No. This only helps someone position themselves or stand. There's no 'alert' portion to how it works.

I had back surgery and really needed something to hold onto getting up from a low sitting recliner and getting out of bed on my side. This was not helpful/sturdy at my chair but was very helpful by my bed. It was worth every penny for me to have help getting up from bed.
