I rebuild antique furniture and many times if have to work on an existing piece that has a round tenon on the end. This allows me to chuck up the round tenon and still spin freely. I don't have to worry about trying to find the center, as it is self-centering.If I had to say anything negative, the two metal "chopsticks" used to tighten/loosen the chuck just seem weird. I'm getting used to them, but it's still a little strange. They could be easily lost, so take care of them.
