The Rugged Ridge Tire Carrier (model 11546.42) is a robust, black powder-coated steel accessory designed exclusively for Jeep CJ and Wrangler YJ/TJ models from 1976 to 2006. It supports oversized 35" tires while maintaining full tailgate functionality, backed by a 5-year warranty to ensure durability and reliability on every adventure.

## Description

No other bumper can give your Jeep this many looks. Modular design provides dozens of different looks and styles. You can build the exact bumper of your choice! Each component maximizes the oversized look of the vehicle. All components are constructed of heavy-duty textured black powder coated steel with a tough E-Coat under-coating. This tough finishes will provide years of heavy-duty use.

Review: Purchased with bumper - I bought the the tire carrier & the bumper and this combination is NO joke. Heavy duty and I'm hoping that for the long-term they're worth the $1.300 paid in total for both. I'm a little concerned with a part on the tire carrier, that when closing/closed it rubs the paint and presses against the tailgate when latched. The jeep is a frame off restoration with new heavy duty bushing which may cause the bumper to ride closer to the jeep than it otherwise might so I can't blame this all on the tire carrier.
Review: deceptive, misleading - This is ONLY a tire carrier, the pictures and add are very deceptive. if your looking for a bumper this isn't it, that's an additional $600. and then some assembly required to bolt them together.

**Q: Does this bumper not have a a hitch receiver?**
A: Not it does not the hitch is a separate piece. It is a standard tow hitch not just an accessory mount. Part number is 11580.03

**Q: Can I put this on a stock tj bumper?**
A: Np, this is for the XHF rear bumper system.

**Q: will the tire carrier hold a 35 inch tire?**
A: YES. I have 35" BFG KO2's. Perfect.

**Q: Will this fit a 76 cj5**
A: Yes assuming you have the XHD rear bumper. If you have a different bumper than no it will not. 76-06 CJ/YJ and TJ, again the XHD rear bumper is needed.
