This was the cheapest possible at the time. I wanted a fun project to build, paint and learn to play. Arrived in a plain box with no instructions at all, but all the necessary parts. No glue, but pre-prepared holes for the screws helped. The neck needed quite a bit of sanding, but smoothed out nicely. I checked out what areas were going to need glueing and then I painted it, before any assembly. I used nice bright acrylic paint and gave it a couple of coats. Then I glued and screwed it together and fitted the strings. There are lots of downloadable instructions on the web if you want some, and a great YouTube vid of a guy making one. Very helpful. I also bought myself a little clip-on tuner so I can get it sounding right. And guess what? It sounds great! Four stars since it didn't have glue or instructions.
