Review: It works......however - Mixed emotions on my satisfaction, but in fairness to the product "they told me so". Here's the deal. I live in Florida, and like MANY Floridians I've installed an aftermarket tinted sun strip at the top of my windshield to stop the sun glare that the standard windshield tint does not adequately address. Now the product outline WARNS against this because it hampers the products performance. And they are correct. However, while the performance IS hindered, I feel that the item STILL has value. At night, without the glare of the sun, the product performs magnificently. During the day, there are restrictions. If the sun is beating directly into the windshield, you can barely make out the outline of overhead signal lights and the color of the signal (red or green) is impossible to see. When the sun is NOT shining directly into the windshield, you can clearly see the overhead traffic signals. Sadly, you can NOT see the "Red" coloring if the signal, but you CAN see when the signal turns to "Green". So.......I write this review to those, like me, that have a heavily tinted windshield that may be turned off by the products accurate disclaimer. There IS still value, albeit limited. Review: It Works in a Mini for a 6' Driver - So helpful. Was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews but decided it was worth a try. 6 feet tall here and use it in a Mini Cooper. No more neck strain. Would be great to include this as standard equipment in all Minis. I've had it 4 months and it solved the only thing I didn't like about my car. Another reviewer said that it's easy to pull so far under a traffic light that the lens doesn't work. This happened to me a couple times at 1 intersection. Then I started checking the lens to make sure I stopped far enough back - a few feet back did the trick, not even 1/2 a car length. And this only happens on 1 light that I go thru regularly. It's a pedestrian-only crossing that's different from most intersections. There is one side effect, it also catches the sun light and reflects it right into your eyes if it’s lined up just so. It’s not that big of a deal, it’s usually only for a split second and then it goes away, but it can be pretty annoying. Still, I think I’ll keep it.
