I am a part of a shiva committee and when I am notified of someone's passing and do not have time to cook for that night, these are very handy to take to the mourners. I can always make something more special during the remainder of the week, when I have more time, but these do suffice so tha they have something to eat for that first night. These are shelf stable, and require no refrigeration, so theyre perfect for traveling or if you need emergency meals.
