Review: Get these paints !! - I’m so in love with these pants and how natural they are. They have ingredients you can smell. I put my toddler outside and let him get as messy as he would like without having to worry about chemicals. These are truly amazing. The only downside is it is a bit grainy but it’s paint for art so I love that ur kind of adds texture and I’m sure it would most likely come out smoother if you mixed it for longer. Definitely worth the money because you only use the smallest amount to make the paint and we used it to paint the pieces of paper and still had a lot left so we painted the side walk and it washed off easily.
Review: Great for Finger Painting with Toddlers - I bought these finger paints because I wanted to try finger painting with my 15-month-old, who still puts pretty much everything in his mouth. I love that these are edible, which gave me peace of mind while letting him explore and have fun. We used them in the bathtub, and one of the yellow paints did stain the tub at first, which caught me a little off guard. However, it came off easily with OxiClean, so it wasn’t a big issue. My baby really enjoys finger painting with these, so I’m sure we’ll be using them regularly. Overall, I love having an edible paint option that makes creative play feel a little more worry-free with a curious toddler!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are all the vegetable used to make the paints?**
A: Ingredients: Organic Potato starch, organic corn starch, organic psyllium husk, organic beet, organic turmeric, organic spinach, organic spirulina and organic hibiscus powders.

**Q: What colors are included in the set of 5?**
A: Purple, Green, Yellow, Orange and a Pink/Red. Please see related video under product photos for actual colors.

**Q: Do they contain heavy metals like lead? Is there any testing done to ensure no lead?**
A: All of our products are tested for lead and heavy metals by a certified third party testing lab.

**Q: Will it stick to canvas?**
A: We think Veggie Baby Finger Paints are best used with art paper. Will it stick to canvas? It will stick in a chunky, abstract way where you build up layers on the canvas, but this technique isn't for everyone. You would then need to use a hair dryer to dry it down so it doesn't mold and seal it so you don't have issues. Most people would have better success with drying down their art paper and framing it under glass.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good concept, just needs more powder than expected
*by C***S on August 26, 2026*

Love the idea of this for baby's first paint sessions, safe if it ends up in their mouth which with a baby it always does. Colors are nice and vibrant once mixed. Only issue is it comes out really watery if you follow the ratio, had to add a lot more powder than expected to get an actual paint consistency instead of colored water. Once we adjusted it worked great and cleanup was easy. Would still recommend, just go heavier on the powder than you think you need.
