Only after not being able to plug it in, I googled the cord and it instructed me that the clear tiny cap on the ends needs to be removed. Thank goodness for Google!!After seeing that everything went to together and I have audio from my external speakers through my receiver. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as intended *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2021* I am using this on the back of my LG smart TV to enable the TV to broadcast to wireless headphones so I can listen to the TV when the room is noisy or when I don't want to disturb whatever else is going on in the room. My only complaint is that there is a very slight delay in the headphone audio vs when people are speaking. The 2 are not quite in sync and can get annoying if I am watching something that has a lot of dialog where the camera is pointed at the persons face while they are speaking. If the camera is not pointed at the person that is speaking, or if the camera is pointed at anything other than the person, then no problem. The delay isn't big enough to cause a problem under that situation. I am guessing that any of these optical to wireless converters will have the same problem, so getting a different brand probably won't make a difference. I am keeping it and using it.
