They are a fraction on the large size.... I’m between size 14/16 (courtesy of shielding and lack of self-control) which makes these ideal! The ‘hang’ of the legs compliment the loose fit and, for me, eliminate the risk of making me look bigger. I purchased the light beige ones. They are slightly see through but wearing light knickers and spotting a sense of humour cures any ‘shame’. Don’t let this dissuade you as it’s minimal - they don’t offer a full view of what lies beneath! The length is spot on : I’m 5’6” /162cm but will easier fit a longer leg length. I’m going to buy a darker pair so I can wear them to work when I’m released from shielding; I don’t think my less-humorous colleagues will want any glimpses of my Bridget knickers.....I buy a ton of things from Amazon and seldom complete a review but these, and fellow prospective buyers, deserve it! REALLY comfortable and airy, great to dress up or down. So much so Ive bought 5 colours now. Easy to wash and hang to dry overnight... not any need for heat, just hang in a doorway if needs be! However! I can't say I'm happy with the quality. I was looking forward to buy these in several colours, but I'm not so sure anymore.I had trousers that looked the same for years b fore they've fallen apart and I was so happy thinking I've finally found the same ones again. Not the case... The fabric and quality of these is so inferior to what I use to have. Bad seams everywhere, the crotch ones are falling apart after ONE washing at 30 degrees. Also there's a bad colour bleed, so now I have faded stripes on one leg.The waist is made of a different fabric, something I didn't expect at all, and it's terrible.
