    Frustrating and Disappointing

I wanted this book to be better than it was.  Unfortunately there were some logical fallacies to the concepts set up in the beginning that I just couldn't accept along with a slurry of contradictions within the authors own explanations.  This made for inconsistencies in the novel and it made it seem as if events just happened out of convenience rather than logic.The worst part was the ending which I found the ending deeply unsatisfying.  If I hadn't been led to believe the plot was completely other than what it actually was for the entire book, the ending would have actually worked.The imagination was great, however.  It's an interesting mix of 'The Neverending Story' and 'Haroun and the Sea of Stories' and this might make a better movie than book.
