The dual-lumen (like Littman Cardiology stethoscopes!!) and lower price point (lower than a Littman Classic III when I bought it) made it an easy sell for me. I can hear heart sounds, lungs sounds, and take BP with ease. It feels really high quality. It’s made in Germany. Furthermore, the extra ear pieces and canvas carrying case are a nice plus. I imagine I will use the stethoscope for years and years (unless I lose it)! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but couldn't see sending this one back as the sound quality is SO much better than my Adscope *by A***R on April 24, 2018* Very sensitive and yes, it does block out external noise well. I originally was going to return this as I made the mistake of ordering another stethoscope after directly from Amazon (poor business practice to not accept returns Amazon and not disclose it on the product page). Anyway, I figured I didn't need 2 stethoscopes, but couldn't see sending this one back as the sound quality is SO much better than my Adscope. I have decided to save my Erka for when I return to nursing school, since I only need something for BPs and pediatric apicals right now.
