I know the importance of good hydration and proper preparation. This product did not cook well at all. I marinated the chunks overnight and even then I could not get the chunks to have an acceptable texture. Eating this was like eating a sponge, just terrible. It did not matter how small I cut the chunks the sponge-like texture did not go away.
