All probe meters are very prone to error and it gives very inconsistent readings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not sure if this works as a PH Meter *by R***R on 28 September 2019* This instrument appears to work OK as a moisture meter, but I bought it to test soil PH. I am not sure having used it whether it works or not. The scale is 1 to 8 with only 8 being acid, and everywhere I have tried it in the garden gives a reading between 7 and 7.5. This could, of course, be perfectly true but I have also tried it in two different types of potting compost and the readings are as for the garden soil.
