It is pricey so I probably won't buy it again despite the fact that I do like the texture and the matte finish. I just don't think the price is warranted. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four Stars *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 4, 2017* Perfect....in time...lovely price ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super matt moisturiser *by S***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 10, 2016* I was pleased to receive a sample of Gatineau's products, as I have used their products in the past and been very impressed with them- although they are hold to get hold off so it is nice to know that Amazon stock them. I was initially intrigued by the product as the the product name is little confusing and unclear- I wasn't sure whether it was a moisturiser, mask, powder or primer until it arrived.On unpacking it became clear that despite the fact that it has powder in then title, it is a moisturiser, albeit one that is designed for congested, oily and enlarged pore prone skin. A kind of moisturiser which absorbs excess oil and shine, so acts a little like a mild primer too. It applies easily, and felt quite nice, although if you are used to a good heavy moisturiser you will notice a difference. I had wanted to try this product as the description led me to think it might be a generous sized primer of sorts, and it almost is. It did keep me shine free for the day and sat nicely on my skin. The moisturiser itself is a pale green tinge, which could be useful for counteracting redness, but it a tint, rather than a thick colour. It has a really lovely fresh smell, which is slightly more masculine that feminine but nothing that both sexes would find too overpowering or heavy. I would imagine that this would be fantastic if you suffer from oily skin from teenage onwards- although the price point would not be something teenage could necessarily afford. I suffered adult acne suddenly at age 30, and this would have been wonderfully smoothing at this point; now at 42 I have treatment to keep it under control, and whilst I appreciated the anti shine part, it wasn't personally moisturising enough for my skin.
