This is so inaccurate. My husband is a 34, we ordered a 36. It wouldn't even meet in the middle. The belt itself was only 30 inches. Nicely made, but you need to make sure you order one a LOT bigger than just 2 inches. Not sure what their reasoning for the sizing. The size is fine -- 34 fits right for 32 waist. It's not made of solid leather, but two split layers of what appears to be genuine leather, bonded together with a middle layer of some material inside (maybe another layer of leather or vinyl I guess). It doesn't look like cheap blended leather. It feels a bit thin though.
