Well-made and sturdy and it took about 20 mins to put together (excluding the undoing/redoing required because I mixed up the supports. Once finished, didn’t take long before it was being very thoroughly inspected. I sprinkled a little catnip on it too, just for good measure but there are enough dangly bits to entice any cat so this probably wasn’t necessary.As usual, sigh, the box it came in was just as enthralling. In fact, he is still playing in the box, with one of the spare screws. Hours of fun. Speaking of the screws, it was particularly pleasing to me was that there were too many screws rather than to few. Unless of course I’ve missed something, in which case there may be trouble ahead. It seems sturdy enough though and as long as you revisit and tighten all the screws one final time after you’ve finished assembling it, there will be lots of fun to be had. Make sure you’ve room to keep the box. The key criteria for us was not just a scratching post - but somewhere to offer security - ideally sleep - play and to be small enough to slot in beside a chest of drawers. This fitted the brief perfectly.I’m pleased with this, although would not have purchased it for an older or larger cat as the platforms would be too small! The headroom in the tunnel is quite low but kitty fits perfectly for now!
