The internals of the pouch (Between the zipper pouch and the clear pouch) are made of cloth. I am starting to see some thinning in that area but I don't think it's going to be an issue any time soon.The zipper pouch is spacious. You could fit multiple cards in it easily. It's also over size is much larger than a standard sized credit card. You could fit some over sized items in it easily.
