Turned out to be a perfect choice. Goes on smooth, and is a bit lighter and more forgiving than a darker color. The color itself is like a dark bronze penny, with an undertone of shine (not sparkly). Huge fan of the "always sharp" part, with a twist you have more liner... and don't have to deal with a sharpener. Smashbox has invented Always Sharp for those of us who are too lazy to sharpen the tip before every usage. Makeup artists recommend sharpening pencil liners before every use to always have a fresh (not dried-out) point. You'll get a professional looking application this way.If you don't know how to properly sharpen this eye pencil you wouldn't be able to sharpen it at all. The only way that you can sharpen this eyeliner is by closing the cap all the way tight. You also can't extend it beyond the normal amount for the same reason. The cap has a sharpener inside and automatically puts the perfect point when closing the cap.Love Love Love the shade Penny Lane for blondes and brunettes. This is a soft warm brown that's not too dark or too light. It's just right for me.
