I see why you add the thin rubber between the bracket and transom. Why the thick ones inside transom?** A: I just use the thicker one for protection of my dock. **Q: If I get a flat tire, do I just throw it away and buy new tires? Are tires replaceable?** A: You can replace the innertube like I did. The tires had dry rot. **Q: Are the tires UV resistant?** A: I have used these for a while in salt water and all day out in the sun with not problems. But I do not have them exposed full time in direct sunlight.
