**Q: what diameter of cane at bottom**
A: The diameter of the walking stick is app.2 centimetres and the total diameter including rubber pad on bottom is4 centimetres. Hope this helps.I like the fact you get a proper clip to stop this stick springing open when folded.

**Q: Is this very heavy ?**
A: No it's not very heavy, it weighs 0.42 kg. Hope that helps!

**Q: what is the length of the handle grip i.e. is is wide enough for a hand 9.5 cm across the knuckles?**
A: I think the basic answer is yes. The handle is 13cm long measured along the top. The longer section is 7cm with three finger indents. The front section is approx 4cm. The normal grip is with three fingers behind the stick and first finger and thumb in front. I  think this is fairly universal with any tee headed stick. Have 2, one for inside and one for outside.

I bought this Life Healthcare walking stick to get mobile after my hip surgery, and it’s been great. It’s sturdy but lightweight, giving me a secure, non-slip rubber-tipped grip on the floor.. The comfort gel handle is a stroke of genius, cushioning my palm perfectly and easing my arthritis. The adjustable height is great and easily adjusted, and it folds down into a slim profile when I need to pack it away. The wrist strap keeps it close, and it works perfectly for both left and right-handed days without any fuss. It’s a premium bit of kit that was great when transitioning from crutches.

Arrived quickly as usual, no assembly needed just clicked together and then adjusted the height. Value for money well made and very easy to adjust the height if required. Purchased for the soft grip handle as I have a hardwood handle and hurts the palm of my hand. Hope this will elevate that.
