It's easy to adjust and get a good fit. I use it paddleboarding and is comfortable and easy to move in whether I'm standing or sitting. The attached whistle in the pocket is great since I'm good at losing emergency whistles! I hate wearing life vests, but I have super low lung capacity currently and am concerned about being able to expend a lot of energy for long in an emergency situation. My first time with this jacket proved its worth and may have saved my life. I took an unexpected spill into frigid, choppy water and while I'm a decent swimmer, the cold water took my breath and energy quickly. Thanks to this vest, I was able to stay afloat through the multiple attempts it took to stabilize and get back on my board and keep my paddle from going downriver.
