I am a woman with smaller hands, and the Ikon handle fits my build and my slicing/chopping style very well. Wustof isn't cheap, but it's not top-of-the-range either. I use this for chicken, tomatoes and other items that require finer knife work than a chef's knife. For a workhorse blade that will hold up for years with proper care, it's a great buy..
