It's not noticeable in natural lighting or cooler, brighter LED lighting conditions. It's mainly focused around the edges of the cut-out for the camera and the sides. Not often noticeable enough for me to mind much, and a non-issue if you have the Aura Glow color.- Doesn't have a border/frame line on the backUltra Hybrid:- Not as thin or flexible, feels much bulkier and heavier (or more substantial) in the hand despite not being much thicker than the Liquid Crystal. I think this is in part due to the rigidity of this one versus the Liquid Crystal.- Totally clear on the back; no oil-slick effect in any lighting, no micro-dots (except for around the inside of the thin "bumper" area, hardly noticeable).- No textured power button- Has a sort of frame-like line on the back that borders the sides of the phone, almost like a clear bumper.- Offers more protection against dropsSimilarities:- They both have nice tactile buttons- Neither of them have shown the sticky, bubble effect on the back. However, that remains to be seen as time goes on since I have only tested them for a day.- They both have the faintest hint of yellow around the edges when holding the phone. I think this is in part to skin color being carried through the clear material in certain lighting and may be inevitable for any of these clear type cases. I'm nitpicking at this point because it is barely noticeable and only under certain lighting conditions.- Both are fingerprint magnets, you will be wiping these constantly. It is an unfortunate side effect of glossy cases.Screen Protector Fit:- I tested the fit of these cases with the amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector that applies with the LOCA glue and UV LED light combo (a cheaper alternative to the Whitestone Dome protector). The fit for both of these cases is VERY close. You would have to install the screen protector nearly perfectly, but the glass does fit inside the window of the case with about 1/2 - 3/4 of a MILLIMETER of clearance on the top and bottom edges. I'd recommend purchasing one of these cases before applying the screen protector, then somehow marking where the edges of the case land, so you can better line up the screen protector once the case is removed during application.I can't attest to the drop protection or long-term yellowing with age as I have neither dropped the phone nor had these cases long enough to see if they yellow over time.They're close enough in similarities but different enough individually that I'm still having a hard time deciding which case I will keep in the end. Overall though, if you're looking for a good clear case, the answer is definitely in either one of these listed above. I wouldn't look any further. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Sleek, light, and well-made *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2019* I don't like putting cases around such a beautiful phone, but I don't mind it so much when the case is this light, and feels so good in the hand.The case is tough enough that you could probably take a hammer to it and it'd still work. It's spillproof to boot and easy to clean. As usual, the fit is great; I don't have to worry about my phone falling out of the case, & I can access all buttons & ports easily. I appreciate that the power/Bixby button is texted & the volume buttons are not; now that all of the buttons are on the same side, that helps a lot in determining which button your finger is on without looking. The clear plastic is flawless, which is great since I want to show off how pretty my Aura Glow phone is.
