Use a piece of wood as a fulcrum to allow you to lever the screw upwards so as not to damage the pan. A bit oil on the plug will help lubricate it and make it easier to extract. **Q: Do they fit any toilet seat** A: No. The bolts that attach to my Jacuzzi brand toilet seat (circa 2010) are different to the diameter of the black rubber bung's thread. The Jacuzzi bolts are slightly thicker and they must be used to fit the seat back on again. **Q: Is this what I need to fix my new toilet seat from the top as can’t get behind it ?** A: Yes. Excellent product highly recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective soloution to a common problem *by S***. on 26 October 2020* Great item that solves a common everyday problem, it is easy fitting and sturdy , however there is a small caveat.A few days after initial fitting i found that the seat was moving again, on investigation i was quite surprised to find that both fixings were very loose, I must assume that after initial fitting that the item "settles" and as its a rubber construction under tension from the two bolts, that it further compresses thus allowing new movement.
