The package includes heaps of extra hardware for any situation and can mount curved back TVs as well as flat back. Has both lag bolts for stud mounting and concrete anchors. Note that you will need a drill for installation, plus a stud sensor if you're mounting to wall studs. Directions included are pretty good.The swivel and base unit are pre-assembled and I could find no fault with them. All hardware is sturdy with no slop or wiggle. The base unit is mounted first to the wall. It's not too heavy to hold by yourself but you will want a helper to mark the drilling locations and for hanging the TV.The tilt mount attaches to the back of the TV using whatever bolts are necessary. The kit has plenty of different bolts for this. The TV then is lifted and hangs onto the swivel plate. Very simple. The only fault I found, is that the bolts that secure the tilt mount at the bottom are mounted in a weak piece of L-shaped steel that bends when you tighten them. Fortunately this location is the least stressed one in the assembly so it won't be a problem.Once assembled the unit is not wiggly and it holds the TV securely. It is easily adjustable in any direction, though you'll need a skinny arm to loosen the tilt knobs. The position of your TV is adjustable by a huge range in every direction. The swivel arms are tight enough that the TV resists being moved around by accidentally bumping it, and it stays where you want it. I was surprised by how much this mount weighed. Because of this, it was a little more difficult to install than I original expected but with one lag bolt in place, I was able to line up the second hole and get a good level on the unit.My TV is not very heavy and two lag bolts were all I needed for a very secure mount. 4 lag bolts are recommended and I assume that a larger/heavier TV would require them. Mine is only 40 inches.I mounted directly into studs so I had no need for the wall anchors included in the package. There was a lot of unnecessary hardware but that is how to make sure that the device has the correct hardware for every TV that might be hung with it. The spacers for the back of the TV turned out to be needed for my application but I only needed one for each hole so there were some left over.All in all, I'm very pleased with the quality of the construction, the instructions and the functionality. It mounted greatly with a Sony 65" @ 80 lbs. So far so good. The package contains multiple screws in different sizes, to match your fitting in the back of your T.V. You'll need a screw driver and a 1/2 in wrench or socket wrench. It does come with a handy leveling device that was very beneficial for me.The only thing that I could see as a minor issue is the tilt knob fastener. It is a very narrow space to squeeze your fingers in there. I could not fit my whole hand unless I fasten them very tightly before lifting the t.v. onto the mount. lesson learned.
