I’ll be honest, this is my second Duex, the first had a software issue, but this one worked perfectly. It’s relatively easy to set up and good quality. It’s also a crowd pleaser as it looks very unique. The added functionality to have this as either an attached monitor on your laptop, or a standalone on a desk is very convenient. All in all a very cool and useful product. It does make your laptop a little bulky, and the extra weight is noticeable but works great for both a 13 inch MacBook and a 17 inch Thinkpad. A little bulky on the Mac but not unruly. The hardest thing is lining up the magnets. When doing so slightly overcompensate to allow more of the Duex to comfortably sit past the right edge of the laptop screen. I bought the monitor to use with my surface so I can't attach it. I had previously been using it with a tablet stand. That's your best bet, as it is much more secure! Clearly the manufacturer saw a way to make more money and rather than do a great job they just put it out there to increase profits.
