Anything that smells toxic when burning, is toxic. If you see any unburnt black areas in the charcoal when your food hits the grille, you will be tainting the food with the soot of the accelerant that's in those briquettes. I strongly recommend using regular charcoal briquettes and starting them without lighter fluid, by using a charcoal chimney lit with a single fire starter made of paraffin-infused wood shavings. It's easy to do and it leaves you with non-toxic, clean-burning briquettes. Finally found it at local Walmart - 4 pallets stacked full. On the other hand, most of my Amazon orders go through and are received - no problem. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes, BBQ Charcoal for Grilling 12 Pounds Each (Pack of 2) (Package May Vary) - KINGSFORD Heavy Duty Deluxe Charcoal Chimney Starter | BBQ Chimney Starter for Charcoal Grill and Barbecues, Compact Easy to Use Chimney Starters and BBQ Grill Tools, Silver - Kingsford Charcoal Lighter Fluid, 32 Fl Oz, Pack of 4 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/148028890-original-charcoal-briquettes-bbq-charcoal-for-grilling-12-pounds-each](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/148028890-original-charcoal-briquettes-bbq-charcoal-for-grilling-12-pounds-each) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
