No artificial or added chemicals lets you know that it's pure rose essence imparted from the flowers, themselves. The tea is slightly more purple than red. The rose and tea scents blend together to induce euphoria in the brain. Unlike other flower-infused teas, especially lower grade ones, there is NO harshness, bitterness or overpowering perfume that ruins the actual tea taste.Rose Green Tea: Let me say this - I am not and never have been a big fan of green tea. Hot or cold. But this is fantastic - In addition with slight rose flavor, add extra dimension to the flavor. This green tea changed my opinion about green tea!Genmai Green Tea: The flavor is unique because the brown rice flavor is definitely there along with the green tea. I find it to be a very comforting early morning drink.Peach & Pineapple Fruit Tea: This does not taste artificial. It's delicious! Better tasting than most actual pulpy peaches these days. I personally think flavors are better when in sachets than in tea bags. There were two of each flavor. In the photos, you can see how they were packaged.Peach & Pineapple Fruit Tea: My favorite from the batch! It's super fruity smelling, and tastes just as good as it smells! A bit more sour than I was expecting, however. Nevertheless, DELICIOUS and I have already ordered a 4 oz bag of this flavor!EDIT: the 4 oz bag of the peach and pineapple has arrived and it is actually a LOOSE LEAF bag, not in sachets. The bag is a stiff brown paper bag with a ziploc seal on top. The tea tastes just as delicious as the sample!Rose Tea: pretty good but standard rose tea. I thought it was quite sweet with a strong flavor and aroma without the need to add honey.Genmai: I was surprised that I actually liked the subtle rice smell and flavor to this green tea. It's a bit sweet in a way, making the tea taste unique. The best way for me to explain would be that is tastes a bit sweeter, sort of in the way wheat beer tastes when it is more wheaty. I've never had any other genmai teas before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I personally liked it more than I expected.Osmanthus Green Tea: While it smelled wonderful, I did not like this tea as much, but it was probably simply because I have discovered that I don't really like osmanthus flavor. I found the tea to be a bit too bitter, even with added honey. It has a peach-ish tone in it with a nice floral hint.Diet Green Tea: Pretty good! I'm not sure what made it diet, but it certainly didn't taste like anything diet. A pretty standard full green taste without bitterness!I really would recommend that you try the five flavor sampler pack since it is a great deal, and each flavor is worth the try. The package was excellent and well-sealed, but the roses, well, they have very light smell in the dry form and just grassy smell in the tea.
