Possibly the coolest retro cruiser bike going. We purchased two of these to donate to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum after some overnight boaters said they wished they could bike into town. After a couple days of internet research, we decided this model ("Regatta" name fits perfectly with a sailing community) and the cool throwback saddlebags would these stand out among the other minimalist bikes from the B&Bs in out tourism town.Suffice it to say, they were a smash hit. The dock master called and said he needed more bikes because every boater wanted to use them. We ordered four more from Amazon and the Museum and their boaters couldn't be happier.I assembled those last four myself. Easy enough, but with all bikes, my main advice is to over-tighten the seat bolt that keeps the seat level. Otherwise, the seat will tilt down or back under the weight of a large rider. The saddlebags are the coolest feature of the bike and hard to find on any of the many popular retro beach cruiser bikes. The bikes are well made, assemble easily, and the gear shift and pedal brakes work perfectly.I would add that I wanted to buy a matched pair of men's and women's versions for my wife and me once I found these. However, the men's version is discontinued and now sold out online. This women's version is pretty much unisex which the Museum liked. But, I wouldn't be surprised if the women's version will also sell out and be discontinued. If you want this bike with its cool retro saddlebags, better get it now!

Great bike for a mature female
I purchased this bike 3 years ago for myself. I wanted a beach cruiser that had 3 speeds and foot breaks. I have had many bikes in the past but could not master the multiple shifting of speeds and the hand brakes always made me nervous. After extensive shopping I finally found this bike and it fit all the items on my want list. So excited when it arrived. Have been riding it almost daily and love it more and more everyday. Perfect bike for a mature woman looking to go biking and really enjoying it. Just like when I was a kid. The added bonus is the saddlebags that hold all my belongings if I am going shopping or to the library. Love it.

Ended up returning for a better bike
I bought this bike mostly for the looks. I loved the retro 50s look, the seat and handlebars look like they are hand stitched and the bag in the back is a great size to fit a ton of stuff. It is a little darker blue than in the picture but it still looked great! I haven't ridden a bike in over 10 years so wanted something for a beginner and was comfy for me to ride on a flat trail. I bought this bike and was super happy with the looks of it. I had it shipped to the store so everything was assembled for me when I picked up. i was soo happy when I took it on my first ride. The seat is comfy and everything works as expected. The seat is super easy to adjust the height which is nice. The peddles are the kind that you push backwards to make it break, I didn't care for this too much but got use to it pretty quickly. NOW to the bad part........ A few days after I bought my bike, My husband went out and bought a Merit Bike. He had me take a ride on his bike to see the difference and it was night and day between the 2. His Merit was so easy to peddle, I was able to go quickly and cover a long distance with little effort. It was comfortable and had 21 speeds. After jumping off of his bike and returning back to my huffy, I felt like going from a high speed boat to a canoe with a paddle. My legs worked twice as hard to make the huffy go half the speed and half the distance. I had difficulty riding it up even the smallest hill, while my husband's Merit bike made it very easy. After the one ride I was convinced that If I ever plan on riding more than a couple miles this was not the bike I would be able to do it with. I returned it back to walmart with no hassle and went to a bike shop and bought a Felt bike. On the huffy my legs were tired after riding 3 miles with no hills, On my first day on the Felt bike I was able to ride 6.5 miles with no problem!!! Even a little hill that I had to walk my Huffy up!. I couldn't believe what a difference a nice bike could make. I realized that although I'm missing out on that awesome 50s retro look, if I'm not able to ride it more than a few miles then what is the point? I hope this helps someone else make a decision.
