Recommended if the color change feature is important to you. Just take the wattage rating with a pinch of the proverbial salt though.I have no way to measure actual lumens output at home, but visual comparison with other 12W LED bulbs at home (Philips) leads me to conclude that actual lumens output is closer to 6W.The color temperature change party trick works as advertised and could be useful in a few situations when white light is needed. I like to use it in warm white setting most of the time so I have to operate the power switch twice every time.I couldn't tell the difference between off white and warm white setting though.So, in all, not a bad product for the price.
