A: A light shine. Light pomades usually have more. You can use this product for a good hold and then a light more greasy product as a top coat for extra shine.

**Q: can I run my fingers through my hair comfortably with this product or does it harden up?**
A: I would say it depends on how much pomade you use. When I use a lot, my hair gets hard and it's difficult to run my fingers through my hair easily but when I use a fair amount, it's very pliable and it's as if there's nothing in my hair

JS Sloane is my new standby. Suggested by my barber, I am on my third jar since being introduced to the product line. Using only a small amount, I find it easy to apply and work with my bone-straight hair. The scent is fantastic too. My wife seems to really like the way my hair smells after I apply it. Comes out easy in the shower with no residue. Using too much however, may make your hair feel a bit greasy. It depends on your style though. If you want to control your hair with a nice short cut, this is for you.
