Very light-weight and quiet. It is also easy to clean after use, although, as a caution, be careful to clean the hose area to avoid blockages. This hoover comes with a charger and that process is very easy to set up. You also get a spare filter. So, for anyone who wishes that cleaning either a carpet or a hard surface floor area were not such a chore, this cleaner is just the ticket. I ordered it not very convinced, but imediatly after I turned it on, it started showing off its muscles. Powerful little beast that lifted my vinyl from the floor and actually cleans golden retriever hair out of brown carpets. Indeed, I have to empty it pretty much after each room is vaccumed, but still... Much easier to use it for the daily normal chours that getting up and down the stairs with the big heavy monster that I previously had and I can relly on anytime for hard stuff and carpet washing. Would have been best if it came with a little more attachements. Like a flexible hose and some small brushes. But even like this, it is a real help.
