The challenge was finding a pair with a modern slimmer fit but without the low rise, which I can't stand, and not too tight.Pros:- The fit is excellent with the little bit of stretch allowing you to have a slimmer profile without being too tight- They look sharp and modern (my daughters even said they look good on me)Cons:- Jeans came with a chemical smell that is still present after two washes- I would say if these are regular rise they are on the low end of regular but not so bad to be a problemI'm 5'10", 165 lbs and the 33x30 fit great. FYI: the color/rinse is darker than in picture but actually pretty cool.Update: The chemical smell goes away after multiple washes. Still love these jeans and would order a second pair, but they're sold out.
