I do add a few cooked green beans, raw carrot slices, small amt of corn and 2 raw zucchini in addition to the 3 raw chicken pieces required. This soup has been shared with family, friends, and strangers with glowing comments and the question "Will you share the recipe?". When they find out it is prepared dehydrated, then "where do you get it, cost, shelf life, etc". Cost may seem a tad expensive unless you realize when prepared it fills a generous size dutch oven. With a few corn tortilla chips on top it makes a delightful feast for the eyes and stomach making at least 8 bountiful servings. I personally have utilized 13 packages of this soup over the last 1 1/2 years with consistent results and consistent praises. From the first bite to the last, this soup is more delicious and filling than you can imagine. Just add chicken and water. It couldn't be easier. I top it off with shredded cheddar, sour cream, and tortilla strips. Bring it to a pot luck and they will think you're a gourmet. Add a bow, it's a decent gift for casual gatherings.
