Korean market a couple years ago. It was known for its incredible performance, and there have been some accusations that its performance was a misrepresentation and fraudulent. However, Rose knife set costs far more than $14.99 in S. Korea.. So when I saw that this product was available in North America, at a competitive price of $14.99, I thought it was a good opportunity to give it a try. Well, I have been using this product for about a month, and I can say that I am perfectly satisfied with this knife set. Sure, it cannot cut through the cutting board like in some previous commercial (in Korea), but it does an excellent job of cutting thick steak meat and fine cutting of fish for sushi quality. It cuts fish even better than my Sushi knife. I would rather use my other traditional knife for cutting the vegetable, but as far as meat and fish go.. I would say this knife works superbly. I am thinking of purchasing one more set and give it to my other family members as gift.
