Have marked it and recharged and the same battery discharges and the unit stops. I now have two set of 4 batteries and each set has 1 battery which does this. I've got till Jan 31st to return so would like to know if this is a common fault. ------------------------------00---------------------------It's now January 22nd and still discharging so they are going back. I have another mains powered charger for NiZn cells and would use this instead. The one provided claims to charge at 500mA whereas my old charger claims to charge at 600mA but this USB charger got very hot in use and the cells in it also got very hot. The red LED on it never turns off when cells are installed but the charger does appear to eventually stop as the cells did cool down after several hours. Don't risk it.The battery cells themselves seem fine.
