Choose from two types: Purifier Class I safety enclosures protect the user from agents that require biosafety containment but no product protection. These enclosures include 254 nm UV germicidal lamp for surface disinfection. The UV lamp is turned on only while the enclosure is unattended to avoid personnel exposure to UV rays. They protect against hazardous chemical powders, dust and allergens down to 0.3 ยต for diverse applications such as blending dry chemicals. Both types of cabinets feature an ergonomic air foil with aerodynamic Clean-Sweep airflow openings that allow air to sweep the work surface for maximum containment. A minihelic pressure gauge monitors filter conditions. Units have a durable, epoxy-coated aluminum and steel construction with 1/4" thick tempered safety glass front sash and sides. The ergonomic 10ยฐ angled and hinged sash pivots upward, locks to a loading height of 20" and has side wiping seals to contain contaminants. Enclosures are compliant with ETL and ETL-C listings, NSF 49 Personnel Protection Test, Particulate Containment Test, and ASHRAE 110-1995 standards.
