Review: Great jerkbait blanks - I love the Duo Realis jerkbaits and I recently decided to start trying to paint some of my own jerkbaits. I looked for some Duo Realis blanks and found these 120SP blanks for a great price! I got a cheap battery powered airbrush in desertcart and some water based airbrush paint and painted my first one all chartreuse then coated it in a 2 part epoxy to protect it from teeth marks. It came out good and I caught a striper on it, and got some other bites my first time throwing it. I wanted to get more creative for my next project so I got some diamond shaped mesh to make a scale pattern and blended it to fade out. Painted the belly chartreuse and just did the epoxy coat. I think it came out nice! These blanks are 4.75” and 5/8oz which is about the same specs are the FlashMinnow 110. The difference is they have a wider wiggle and a longer bill so they dive a couple feet deeper which is what I like when striper and halibut fishing. ## Features - Hobby! No hooks *by K***E on February 4, 2025* I haven’t fished with these yet, I will probably spend way too much time painting them then lose them on the first cast. For about a buck a piece, the quality looks nice. They do not come with split rings or hooks. I asked Dufus the AI chat bot and it said it comes with hooks, but I’m not surprised that it doesn’t for 10 bucks.
